a suggested rubric for evaluation of teacher education student products

Font is easily readable; elements are placed neatly and with appropriate scale; animations are well chosen and enhance delivery of message

Elements are placed neatly and do not distract from delivery of message; animations may distract from delivery of message

Font is hard to read; too many font variations; placement of visual  elements does not appear to have purposeful placement; animations detract from delivery of message

 

Elements of Design: “Effectiveness”

Visual images enhance message; font/background enhances message to viewer; font variations are limited and consistent

Producer clearly demonstrates a thorough understanding of the of the product advertised; suggests original uses for the product

Producer demonstrates understanding of the most obvious aspects of the product advertised
